REGIONAL SUPERVISOR: FUNDS ADMINISTRATION (RE-ADVERTISEMENT)

Job Description

To provide a regional fund administration service to give effect to the fund administration requirements of the agreements.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that the management of the core functions relating to fund administration in the region is done accurately and effectively by processing and balancing all monthly income and payments within stipulated time frames.
• Ensure the implementation of the letter and spirit of agreements in terms of fund administration at regional level by processing all financial transactions arising from the agreements.
• Ensure that fund administration errors and queries are dealt with timeously and accurately.
• Managing efficiencies within respective region by ensuring that deadlines are met and the number of outstanding items in the registers are minimised.
• Effectively manage the pending and refund balances according to stipulated time frames.
• Ensure that agreement changes are implemented in the region.
• Produce monthly departmental reports and statistics regarding fund administration in the region.
• Plan with, organise and supervise reporting staff on a day to day basis.
• Supervise and monitor staff in all their activities and address any performance related concerns and issues.

Qualifications & Experience

• Business Administration and/or Accounting Diploma
• 2-3 years’ experience in the Funds Administration environment
• Supervisory and administering of Finance function in a financial service organization
